About Michelangelo's
Serving Atlanta's east metro area since 1985 in a classic 1830s Victorian home, Michelangelo's Restaurant is known by many as a landmark in Olde Town Conyers, where diners enjoy pasta dishes, seafood, steaks and veal in elegant surroundings. The restaurant also offers private rooms like The Porch, The Scarlet Room and
The Terrace for banquets, weddings and parties.
The restaurant, situated at 951 Railroad St., consistently wins "Readers' Choice" awards
for being the best Italian and special-occasion restaurant in the area, and Southern Living Magazine named Michelangelo's the "choice for dinner in Conyers." The Victorian house that Michelangelo's calls home was once a 14-room private residence and is often called the Almand-Mann Estate, or the Mann House, named for W.O. Mann, who lived there with his family.
The restaurant was also a regular stop for the stars of "In the Heat of the Night," the award-winning network television series filmed several years ago in Covington. The late Carroll O’Connor was a repeat customer and would often bring his production crew and fellow stars to Michelangelo's.
